Terms of Use

Effective 28 October 2026

Hi! These are the rules for using the Beepo website (beepocat.com and beepocat.pages.dev), the free wallpapers, the Beepo email list, and sending us fan art. Beepo is a small creator project run by one person in Hawaii, USA (“Beepo”, “we”, “us”). By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site. Our Privacy Policy explains what we do with your information.

1. Who can use the site

Beepo is made for a general audience, not for young children. You need to be 13 or older to join the email list or send us fan art. If you’re under 18, please check with a parent or guardian first. If the law where you live sets a higher age for agreeing to things like this on your own (for example 16 in some EU countries), a parent or guardian needs to agree for you.

2. Beepo belongs to us

Beepo the character, the name “Beepo”, the logo, the videos, pictures and wallpapers, and this website are owned by us and protected by copyright and trademark law. Apart from what these terms allow, please don’t copy, sell or use them, and never on products, in ads, or in a way that makes something look official when it isn’t.

3. Free wallpapers are for personal use

You can: download the wallpapers, use them on your own phone, tablet and computer, and share a screenshot of your lock screen or desktop on social media (tagging @beepocat makes us happy).

You can’t:

This permission is personal, free, non-exclusive and non-transferable, and it ends if you break these rules. Please don’t post the private download link publicly. Send friends to the website instead so they can get their own.

4. Making your own Beepo fan art

We love fan art! You’re welcome to draw, craft, cosplay or edit Beepo for fun and post it with credit. Please don’t sell Beepo fan art or merch (prints, stickers, paid commissions of Beepo and so on) without our written OK, don’t make it look official, and don’t make Beepo content that is hateful, sexual, violent or mean. We may ask you to take down anything that crosses those lines.

5. Sending us fan art

These rules apply when you send us art through the form on the fan art page, or by DM, email or the #beepofanart tag while asking us to share it.

What you promise us. When you send art, you confirm that:

You keep your art. You still own your artwork. We don’t claim it.

The permission you give us. You give us a free, non-exclusive, worldwide permission (a licence) to show, copy and share your art, with credit, on the Beepo website, on our social media accounts (such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube), in our email newsletter, and in Beepo videos and posts, including videos that earn money from ads, platform payouts or sponsorships. We may resize, crop, frame or caption it, or gently animate it in a video, but we won’t change it in a way that misrepresents your work. This permission does not include putting your art on merchandise or products for sale. If we ever want to do that, we’ll ask you first and agree on payment separately.

Credit. We’ll credit you with the name or @ you give us, in the caption, on the page or on screen. If we ever miss a credit by mistake, tell us and we’ll fix it where we can.

No promise, no payment. We choose which pieces to post, and we may remove any piece at any time. We don’t pay for fan art we share, and sending art doesn’t make you our employee, partner or contractor.

Changing your mind. You can ask us to take your art down at any time by emailing [email protected] or messaging @beepocat. We’ll remove it from the website within 7 days and won’t use it in anything new. We’ll also delete or edit our posts and videos that already show it wherever the platform lets us, but copies that other people have already saved or shared may stay out there.

Ideas. We get lots of ideas from lots of people and come up with plenty ourselves. If a future Beepo episode or design looks like something you sent, that doesn’t mean we used your idea or owe you anything for it.

6. Our emails

When you sign up you’ll get the wallpaper emails and Beepo news now and then: new wallpapers, plushies, pet portraits and other launches. Every email has an unsubscribe link. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

7. Please don’t

8. Other services

The site uses outside services: Kit runs our email list, Tally runs the fan-art upload form, and Cloudflare hosts the site. We also link to TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them, and we’re not responsible for their sites or services.

9. Buying things from Beepo

Nothing is sold on this website yet. When we sell things (for example pet portraits, stickers, merch or plush pre-orders), you’ll see the price, the delivery time, the refund rules and who the seller is (us through a shop such as Ko-fi or Etsy, or a partner such as a plush maker) before you pay. Those terms will apply to that purchase together with these.

We respect other people’s work. If you think something on our site or our accounts uses your work without permission, email [email protected] with the subject “Copyright complaint” and include:

  1. your name, postal address, phone number and email;
  2. a description of your work;
  3. a link to where it appears on our site or accounts;
  4. a statement that you believe in good faith that the use isn’t authorised by you, your agent or the law;
  5. a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or are authorised to act for the owner;
  6. your physical or electronic signature (typing your full name is fine).

We’ll remove or disable the material quickly, and if a fan submitted it we’ll let them know.

Counter-notice. If something you sent us was removed and you believe that was a mistake, email us with: what was removed and where it was; a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification; your name, address and phone number; a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if you live outside the US, any judicial district where we may be found) and that you’ll accept service of process from the person who complained; and your signature. We may then restore the material as the law allows.

Please be accurate: knowingly false claims or counter-notices can make you liable for damages. We stop accepting submissions from anyone who repeatedly sends work that isn’t theirs.

Other problems. If something we posted shows you, shares your private information, or seems hurtful or wrong for another reason, email us and we’ll look at it quickly.

11. No guarantees

The site, the wallpapers and everything else we give away for free are provided “as is” and “as available”. We do our best, but we don’t promise they’ll always be available, error-free or right for your device, and we may change or stop the site, the wallpapers or the email list at any time.

12. Limits on our liability

As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from the site or anything on it. As far as the law allows, our total liability for any claim about the site or our free content is limited to the greater of US$50 or what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they apply to you only as far as your local law permits. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, or takes away rights you have as a consumer where you live.

13. If you break these terms

If you send us something that isn’t yours to share or otherwise break these terms, and someone makes a claim against us because of it, you agree to cover the reasonable costs that result, as far as the law allows. We may also remove your content and stop accepting your submissions.

14. Which law applies

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Hawaii and applicable US federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Hawaii, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim in your home courts (as consumers in the EU and UK can). Before filing anything, please email us and give us 30 days to try to sort it out. Most things can be fixed with a quick message. This doesn’t stop either side from going to small-claims court or asking a court for urgent help, such as stopping a copyright infringement.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Beepo grows. We’ll post the new version here with a new effective date, and for big changes we’ll also put a note on the site or in an email. If you keep using the site after a change, the new terms apply from then on. Art you sent before a change stays under the terms that applied when you sent it.

16. The small print

These terms, the Privacy Policy and any terms shown when you buy something are the whole agreement between you and us about the site. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we don’t enforce something right away, we can still enforce it later. We may transfer these terms, including the permissions you’ve given us for your fan art, to a company that takes over running Beepo (for example if Beepo becomes an LLC). You can’t transfer your rights under these terms to someone else.

17. Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to enjoy Beepo. If any part of the site is hard to use (for example with a screen reader or keyboard), email us and we’ll help, or send you the content another way.

18. Contact
